GRACE SOLARES’ CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE CONTINUES TO TURN OUT THE BEST ATTACK FLYERS

BITCH SLAPPING THE SARNOFFS

Grace Solares came in as the anti-Sarnoff candidate, and as the race comes to an end, she continues to be the most outspoken and consistent candidate in that regard.

As someone who believes that politics is a game of hardball, I have always believed that if you’re going to attack your opponent, then do it openly, with as much force as you can.  Therefore, the 2 political flyers that have been generated by Christian Ulvert on behalf of Grace are as good as it gets when it comes to a punch in the mouth.

Now, that doesn’t mean that I’m coming out in support of Grace - even though I share her belief that Teresa Sarnoff would make an absolute terrible City Commissioner - because the last 9 months have not changed the opinion I expressed in my January 16th rant, that “Grace Solares and Rosy Palomino, both of them are the wrong candidates running in the wrong District to take advantage of their strengths.”

In addition, the political hypocrisy reflected by the fact that Grace Solares was herself a Republican during the time that Sarnoff and his wife were giving Rick Scott a political hand-job, is unfortunately not the kind of message that convinces me that Grace would not sell out on an issue for the right price.

The irony in all of this is that this flyer was only made possible by the abject political cowardice of the Florida and Miami-Dade Democratic Party, who in 2013, when the Sarnoffs were cavorting with Rick Scott did absolutely nothing to punish him for the egregious behavior he exhibited in this video.

That this endorsement resulted in not only Sarnoff being appointed by Scott to the Metropolitan Planning Organization of Miami-Dade County but also the appointment of Pieter Bockweg, Sarnoff’s long-time butt boy and Executive Director of the OMNI CRA to the Florida Film and Entertainment Advisory Council, as well as other favors to be determined later, should have made Democrats ashamed and embarrassed over the temerity of their party leadership, and also made Teddy Roosevelt spin in his grave like a whirling dervish when Sarnoff had to gall to equate Rick Scott’s treatment of Florida’s Parks to be the equal of Roosevelt’s accomplishments in establishing our national park system

I am however, a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due, and I so I end by saying that I really like the flyer.

It’s Miami, Bitches!
