Below is the video of the press conference - in English and Spanish - he;d by Miami Chief of Police Manuel Orosa regarding the Critical mass Bike Rise that takes place on the last Friday of every month.

The bike ride is billed as a protest to convey to motorists that bikers have as much right to the road as cars, and that if it takes some “minor disobedience” like running red lights and stop signs as a way to get that message across, then that’s okay.

The fact that this press conference, and the release of two letters - see below - sent to the person who the Police department has now labeled as the ride’s organizer indicates that there will probably be a strong police presence on the streets where the ride is scheduled to take place.
