For those of you interested in getting up early next Wednesday morning and going down and watching this play out, Judge Cueto’s Chambers are on the 11th Floor, at 73 West Flagler Street.  Be early, because this might be a standing room only event.

Below is Corda’s petition for an injunction, so you can better follow his arguments on the reasons why Skyrise should not be included in the Referendum and the motions filed by Bayside and Skyrise’s lawyers petitioning the court to be allowed to intervene.

ANOTHER BAD DEAL FOR MIAMI
IT LOOKS LIKE CHARLES CORDA’S EFFORT TO STOP THE REFERENDUM VOTE ON SKYRISE HAS SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF JEFFREY BERKOWITZ
PART XV

Coconut Grove architect Charles Corda got a court date of July 30th for his Emergency Hearing on his effort to get an injunction against the Skyrise Tower being voted on as part of the Referendum Vote on the extension of the Bayside Marketplace contract, and it seems that that has scared developer Jeffrey Berkowitz so much that he’s paying big bucks to try and get a former State Supreme Court judge to represent him in a legal action that is actually against the City of Miami and the Miami-Dade Elections Commission.

Here is the email that Charlie sent out on Saturday.
